The Second Convocation of the Prestigious Lagos State Cooperative College comes up at the College’s Johnson Agiri Agricultural Complex, Old Abeokuta Road, Oko – Oba, Agege, Lagos State from Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th of May 2025.
The activities lined up for the three – day event includes the following: Convocation Lecture, Alumni and Students Celebration and lastly the Main Event which is the Convocation.
On the 13th of May 2025, which is the first day of the event, there will be Convocation Lecture. Titled “Convocation Management: The Development and Transformation of Nano Enterprise in Lagos to be delivered by erudite scholar, Doctor. Olusegun Dada.
On the second day of the event which is 13th May 2025, it will be the turn of the Alumni and Students of the College to put on their dancing shoes to celebrate the occasion.
The Grand – Finale which is the Main Convocation proper will comes up on the 14th of May 2025 when the Graduating Students would be awarded Diplomas in their various field of discipline.
The Three – Day Convocation Ceremony will attract various people from all walks of life, including Lagos State Government Officials, Stakeholders, Students, Parents and Wellwishers
The Lagos State Cooperative College established under Section 2 of the Cooperative College Law of Lagos to fulfil the mandate of Training, Research, Learning and Management Information and Communication Technology to Cooperators and Members of the Public at Local and International Levels.
The Lagos State Cooperative College stated operations in 2012 and the Governing Council was inaugurated in June 2020 and secured Institutional accreditation in September 2021 and got the approval of the Board for Technical Education ( NBTE) which commenced from 2021/ 2022 Academic Session to run a National Diploma Programme in Cooperative, Economics and Management, Microfinance and Enterprise Development.
