Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda has extended warm felicitations to Christians in the state and across Nigeria as they celebrate Christmas and prepare to enter the New Year.
Governor Radda urged Christians to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ, particularly his messages of love, sacrifice, and compassion towards humanity.
The Governor described Christmas as a significant period for Christians to renew their commitment to the values that promote peaceful coexistence and national unity.
“As we celebrate this joyous season, call on all Christians to embrace the spirit of love and the tolerance that Christ exemplified throughout his earthly ministry, Governor Radda stated.
He stressed that unity among Nigerians regardless of religious or ethic differences, remains critical building a safer, prosperous Katsina and Nigeria.
In a statement by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, his Chief Press Secretary, Governor Radda called for sustained Collaboration between Christians, Muslims, and people of other faiths in the state, noting that religious tolerance and mutual respect are essential ingredients for development and progress.
“When we stand together in unity, we become stronger and more capable of overcoming the challenges facing our state and nation,” he added.
The Governor urged Christians to use the Christmas season to pray for peace, security, and prosperity in Katsina State and Nigeria, emphasizing that the needs divine intervention and human cooperation to achieve lasting progress.
He assured Christians in Katsina State of his admin’s commitment to protecting their rights, ensuring their safety, and creating an enabling environment where all citizens can practice their faith without fear of hindrance.
