The Dangote Refinery in bringing succour to many Nigerians has reduced its Petrol Gantry Price by 15.58 per cent from N828 to N699 per litre which took effect from December 11 2025.
The latest adjustment to the new price marks the 20th price review by the refinery this year.
The price reduction follows recent meeting between refinery Chairman Aliko Dangote and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on December 6, during which the business mogul reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining competitive domestic fuel price despite global market volatility and persistent smuggling of fuel across the borders.
The refinery said the reason for the price reduction is to ease transport costs ahead of Christmas, when millions of Nigerians travel across the states and reunite with their family. The Company also stated that the review aligns with its commitment to make the season memorable for citizens and reduce cost pressure on road transport operators.
