Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of renowned Kano business and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata who died at the age of 94.
Governor Radda in a condolence message, described the late business mogul as a giant who footprints in commerce, industry and humanitarian service stretched across Northern Nigeria and beyond.
The Governor in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, noted that the deceased’s business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit served as inspiration to countless young people across the North, while his philanthropic endeavours touches lives in ways that will be remembered for generations.
Governor Radda also in the statement, stated that the passing of Alhaji Dantata is a colossal loss to Nigeria. The nation has lost a bridge – builder, a mentor, and a patriarch whose wisdom guides many through the complexities of business life.
Governor Radd, on behalf of the good people of Katsina State, extended heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Governor of Kano State, Abba Yussuf, the Dantata family, the business community, and all who were touched by late patriarch benevolence.
The Governor prayed that Almighty Allah grant Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata Aljanah Fidaus and give his family, friends, and associates the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
