The Ghana Armed Forces in Collaboration with the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Customs Division of Ghana and Immigration will on Thursday, 11 December 2025 conduct a Coordinated Exercise in Accra.
The exercise will commence at 0900 hours from the Black Star Square through the major streets of the Capital and end up at the same venue.
In a statement issued and signed by Colonel Evelyn Ntiamoah Asamoah for the Director General Department of Public Relations General Headquarters stated that the Show of Force forms part of the ongoing joint security preparations aimed at enhancing operational readiness, deterring criminal element and assuring the public of preparedness of Ghana’s Security Services to maintain peace and stability especially as the festive season approaches.
It also aims to strengthen Inter – agencies cooperation and ensure a robust national security posture to counter threats and maintain safe environment for all.
The Show of Force Exercise is a routine training which may result in increased security presence and temporary traffic slowdown in Graeter Accra and its environs. The Armed Forces, however encouraged the public to go about their normal duties.
