The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr Bode Agoro, has charged the seven newly appointed Permanent Secretaries in the Lagos State Public Service to make meaningful and positive impacts in their respective roles.
Mr Agoro gave the charge during the swearing – in ceremony presided over by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo- Olu, held the Banquet Hall, Lagos House, Ikeja, on Friday, 24th April 2026.
Describing the new appointees as the “G7” the Head of Service noted that they were carefully selected from pool of successful candidates who underwent a rigorous selection process, following Interview conducted by the Governor in 2022 and 2024.
Mr. Agoro further disclosed that the latest appointments bring the total numbers of Permanent Secretaries appointed during Governor Sanwo – Olu’s administration to 129.
The newly sworn – in Permanent Secretaries and their respective postings are as follows:
** Engr. Adeyemi Adetunji Adesanya – Office of Urban Development;
** Mrs Durodola Olubukonla Olusola – Local Government Service Commission;
** Mrs Oladeji Oluwatoyin Olubunmi – Cabinet Office;
** Mr Sorungbe Tiwalade Adeyinka – Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology;
**Arc Olukareh Bolanle Monica – Office of Works;
**Dr Martins Babajide Olumuyiwa – Bureau of Public Defender,
** Dr Oluwo Adenike Oluwafunmilayo – Health District 11
Additionally three Permanent Secretaries were redeployed to other Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDA’s):
Engr Ibilola Olufunke Kasumu – Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
**Mrs Bibilomo Olayide Olushekun – Office of the Deputy Governor
** Mrs Toyin Rahmat Ogunlana – Local Government, Establishment and Training
In the same vein, the Chairman and members of the Lagos State Health Service Commission were also inaugurated by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo – Olu.
