Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit ( popularly known as petrol) by N25 per litre, lowering its ex – depot/ gantry rate from N799 to N774 per litre.
According to a signed statement by the management, the refinery communicated the price adjustment to marketers on Tuesday, confirming that the new price takes immediate effect nationwide.
The statement stated: “This is notify you ( marketers) a change in our gantry price from N799 per litre to N774 per litre,” noted the refinery.
Management disclosed that the price adjustment further strengthens the competitiveness of locally refined products, as the current landing price of PMS from Lome stands at N793 per litre, compare to Dangote Refinery’s ex – depot/gantry price of N774 per litre.
It may be recalled that in January 2026, Dangote Petroleum Refinery had increased its gantry price to N799 per litre, up from N779 per litre which triggered a nationwide hike in retail fuel prices.
