Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, inline with the State Government THEME+ Agenda has commenced a comprehensive State – wide enumeration exercise to capture accurate, reliable and real time data of all public and private schools within the State.
The exercise the Ministry says is to reaffirmed the State Government commitment in delivering quality education as encapsulate in the THEME + Agenda. The exercise which already began on Monday, November 17 will end on Friday, November 28 2025
According to the Honourable Commissioner, Mr. Tolani Alli – Balogun stated that the exercise aims is to capture vital information on enrollment, facilities, staff, and learner demographics, which enable the Government to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions that meet national and international standards.
“The data collected will provide a clearer understanding of Lagos State education structure,” he enthused. To facilitate this process, Alli – Balogun disclosed that enumerators will required Information in an exercise scheduled to commenced from Monday, November 17 to Friday, November 28 2025.
Furtherance to this, the Commissioner urged school administrators, staff and students to cooperate with enumerators during the exercise. “Together, lets make this census a success and paveway for brighter future for our young learners.
